100% Surcharge waiver scheme has been announced by the electricity department of Uttar Pradesh (referred as UPPCL) for domestic, commercial (up to 5KW) and Private Tubewell (LMV-5) consumers with the name One Time Settlement Scheme.

Key points:

• Domestic, private tubewell of all loads and commercial defaulter consumers of up to 5 KW loads are eligible for this scheme.
• The above category could be from rural or urban areas.
• Registration Date : 01-Jun-2022 to 30-Jun-2022
• Registration fee : No registration required this time.
• Rebate will be given on surcharge till 30.04.2022.

Installment : Maximum 6 installments up to principal dues of 1 lacs and 12 installments if principal dues is more than 1 lacs.
Court Case, Disconnected Consumer, FIR Cases, Section 5 Issued case will also get surcharge waiver.
