11th amendment - Definition of Multi-storied Building
उत्तर प्रदेश विद्युत नियामक आयोग ने इलेक्ट्रिसिटी सप्लाइ कोड - 2005 मे ग्यारहवाँ संसोधन किया है जिसे 17-जनवरी-2018 से लागू समझा जाएगा| इस संसोधन मे बहुमजली इमारत के परिभाषा मे आंशिक संसोधन किया गया है|आवासीय कॉलोनी एवं बहुमंजिला इमारतों मे बिजली संयोजन निर्गत करने हेतु विद्युत भार गणना के लिए कुछ अलग दिशा निर्देश हैं | इसके लिए बहुमंजिला इमारतों की पहचान आवश्यक है| इलेक्ट्रिसिटी सप्लाइ कोड - 2005 के संलग्नक - 4.6 (संदर्भ 4.9) मे बहुमंजिला इमारत परिभाषित किया गया है| इसमे आंशिक परिवर्तन करते हुए अब बहुमंजिला भवन से ऐसा भवन अभिप्रेत है, जिसमे निम्न तल (basement) को छोडकर चार (4) या उससे अधिक तल हो, भवन मे प्रवेश हेतु भूतल को भी मंजिल की गणना हेतु सम्मिलित किया जाएगा| मतलब, अगर भवन का प्रवेश भूतल से है, तो उसे बेसमेंट नहीं अपितु मंजिल समझा जाएगा|

The Annexure 4.6 (ref. clause 4.9) point no. 1 under note of Guidelines for Determination of Load in case of Multi-Storied Building/Colonies is amended as follows:
Existing Provision | New Provision |

Multi-storied building means a building having three or more stories excluding basement. | Multi-storied building means a building having more than four stories excluding basement but the stilt floor will be included in ascertaining the number of stories. The other provisions regarding load and covered area will remain as they are. |
- For domestic – 500 watt per 10 sq. meters of the constructed area or requisitioned load, whichever is higher.
- For commercial – 1500 watt per 10 sq. meters of the constructed area or requisitioned load, whichever is higher.
- For lift, water lifting pump, streetlight if any, corridor / campus lighting and other common facilities, actual load shall be calculated.
- The constructed area calculated for (i) and (ii) above shall exclude the constructed area arrived at in (iii).
- Following diversity factors shall be considered for determining the maximum demand: -
a) Non Domestic Area: 0.75
b) Domestic Area: 0.5
