Please suggest proper channel for settlement of wrong bills
I would like to inform you that I have registered a complaint through helpline number 18001800440 regarding settlement of my wrong bill because the bill which I have paid is higher than my Consumed Units. In response to my complaint a message delivered that your complaint has been resolved. Henceforth I checked the status of my complaint in uppcl website (upenergy.in). In this website, my complaint was closed by SDO with remarks "sdo office me sampark kare".
In spite of their own mistake and having all my details with them, why they call the consumer in their office.
I want to know what is the aim of call center which is being run by paying a very huge amount.
Please suggest the way of settlement of wrong bill without having been there. And also tell the process for the same in your Division.
It is the matter of Bighapur Power House, Sub Division Purwa, District Unnao
I can't control them as they are not my subordinates. Though I still believe that they should have not done like this.

First of all my bill is not as per my Consumed Units. To verify the same they have to send a meter reader for noting down the present Units and generate a bill for that consumed Units. Thereafter they settle my bill amount as per actual consumption.
Second thing is my meter no in my bill is incorrect. So, will I pay the bill as per anyone else's consumption?
Actual bill may be generated with my meter number that should be mentioned in my bill which meter reader will give.
In parallel this problem may be resolved.

Phone no. is also mentioned wrong if that phone no is of consumer.

Bill correction has very simple logic.
1. Find out the last OK/undisputed bill. Say 12-feb-2018.
2. Note down the arrear till 12-feb-18 and meter read of that date.
3. Now get today's read. Generate bill from 12-feb-2018 to till date with read diff of that period.
4. Subtract the payment if made in between.
If meter change/unmetered to metered conversion took place in between. Consider that date and break your bill in two parts.
If you can provide me those details. I can help you to calculate your bill.
I took a metered connection by depositing fee of Rs. 1330/- on 29/09/2018. Meter and connection was installed on 10 Oct. 2018. No bill was generated before 12 Feb 2019.
Point wise replies are given below:
1. My fist bill is disputed and generated on 12 Feb 2019. It is attached also.
2. There is no arrears for my connection. No one came to note down the meter reading. This bill is generated on expected consumption that's why I have no receipt of bills given by meter reader. I have only bill paid receipt.
3. I am in Delhi now so I can not provide today's reading. I am able to calculate my correct bill.
4. I have made only one bill of Rs. 901/- on 23 Feb 2019.

I tried to calculate your bill considering read 90 KWH.

I want to let you know that I have emailed earlier for my problem regarding "not a valid account number" to the energy minister. After a few days, a phone call received from the office of energy minister with the suggestion to meet in your concerned SDO office. It means they, who are posted there for handling the energy minister's email Id are also get rid of these consumers' problems.
In spite of all that, as per your suggestion I will write email to energy minister for the same.
