UP Electricity Supply Code, 2005 - 10th Amendment (2017)

Amended clause 8.2(vii) regarding compounding charges for electricity assessment. If compounding charges are accepted by the consumer, any additional charges for assessment of units by the licensee shall now be 2 times the existing tariff (previously 1 time). This ensures stricter penalties for delayed or irregular payments.
