For Industrial & Commercial Consumers

- Time of Day (TOD) Slots: For the first time, different time slots are defined for summer and winter. Previously, only the rates within the slots could change; the slot timings themselves were identical for summer and winter, each lasting 6 hours.
- In summer (April–September), the TOD slots now have irregular durations (5, 9, 8, and 2 hours) instead of equal 6-hour slots, and the hours with positive rates have increased.
- In winter (October–March), the slots remain 6 hours each, but the summer and winter slot timings are now distinct.
- IT & ITeS Industry: A provision has been created to allow IT and IT-enabled Services (ITeS) industries to receive the benefits of the industrial (HV-2) tariff, as per government policy.
- Automatic Load Revision: If a consumer's maximum demand exceeds their sanctioned load at least three times in a financial year, the DISCOM can automatically increase their sanctioned load starting from the next financial year.
For EV & Green Energy
- Green Energy Tariff Reduced: The Green Energy Tariff has been reduced from Rs. 0.44 per unit to Rs. 0.36 per unit.
- EV Charging: The tariff rates for Public Charging Stations (LMV-11) will now also apply to State Road Transport EV charging stations.
- RRTS Tariff: The Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) will be charged the same electricity tariff as Metro Rail services (HV-3).
