10th Amendment - Theft Assessment shall be 2 times of existing tariff
बिजली चोरी मे पकड़े जाने के उपरांत दोषी व्यक्ति को विभाग द्वारा निर्धारित राजस्व जमा करना होता है| इलेक्ट्रिसिटी सप्लाइ कोड - 2005 के धारा - 8 मे राजस्व निर्धारण हेतु दिशा निर्देश दिये गए हैं | धारा - 152 मे दोषी व्यक्ति को विभाग मे शमन राशि जमा कर दोषमुक्त किए जाने का प्रावधान भी है| ध्यान रहे, शमन केवल एक बार किया जा सकता है, चोरी की पुनरावृति पर शमन अमान्य है| धारा-8 की उपधारा - VII के अनुसार, अगर दोषी व्यक्ति शमन धनराशि जमा कर दे तो राजस्व निर्धारण केवल टैरिफ के सामान्य दर पर होगा|
उत्तर प्रदेश विद्युत नियामक आयोग ने इलेक्ट्रिसिटी सप्लाइ कोड - 2005 के धारा - 8 की उपधारा - VII मे परिवर्तन किया है, जिसे दसवां संसोधन के नाम से जाना जाएगा| ये संसोधन 26-सितम्बर-2017 से मान्य है| दोषी व्यक्ति द्वारा शमन जमा करने पर भी राजस्व निर्धारण मे कोई परिवर्तन नही किया जा सकेगा| अब शमन जमा करने पर भी राजस्व निर्धारण की गणना विद्यमान टैरिफ की दो गुणी दर पर किया जाएगा| शमन केवल कोर्ट केस की कार्यवाही से मुक्ति देने के लिए रह जाएगा|
The clause no. 8.2 (vii) shall be amended as follows:
