I HAVE ANOTHER QUERY ABOUT MINIMUM CHARGES ON ASSESMENT CALCULATION.
WHAT IS THE RULE ABOUT THAT,
IF I HAVE TO CALCULATE ASSMENT FOR HIGHER TARRIF e.g. commercial building construction from a connection of LMV 1.
ONLY 856 KWH HAVE  BEEN USED IN ONE YEAR. METER IS HEALTHY.
KINDY CLEARS THE RULES OF MINIMUM CHARGES.

hello this is Deepesh kumar srivastava, Executive officer(technical), The Institution of Engineers, India posted at Headquarters Cell, Delhi. i am from Allahabad. recently i on behalf of my mother aged 62 apply for new electricity connection under jhatpat schme. after step 3 i received  sms that application has been rejected citing reason that Assessment Due pending however we have never received any notice/due bill for the same. kindly educate me about this reason cited therof.

The actual reason might be explained by the local officer. But, the term "Assessment" is generally used for penalty against the electricity theft. It might be the possible reason that local electricity authority has issued any assessment bill. Again, the notice could be enquired at the local office

i want to know regarding the procedure to assess the meter tampering cases where fir was lodged in section 135.
i have suggested to asses it by simple l*f*h*d formula but our EE sir is not sure about it. pls suggest me because it is so confusing. and different division following different procedures in meter tampering cases

in case raid done by department at registered consumer under sanctioned load of 2 kw and theft found in checking 3.172 kw by meter bypass then on which load should be compounding amount fix and could also adjust one year EC who's paid by consumer

In case of LMB 6 load is given an HP but we calculate assessment in kilowatt
But what about compounding we take
on HP or in kilowatt..

Compounding will be considered according to KW.
Actually the unit in which the fixed charge is written in the tariff book is to be considered for compounding calculation.
So, HP will be considered for compounding calculation in case of LMV5 and LMV8.
